Carpet Specialists - Uttoxeter
W N Davies Carpet Specialists is a carpet firm based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, which prides itself on being a family run independant business at the heart of the local community. It has been established for over 30 years, after being originally founded by Bill Davies in the 1970s. The company was passed on to his son, Michael Davies 20 years ago, who ran the company until his retirement in 2007. The current owner is myself, Trevor Wright. I was initially employed as a fitter in 1987 and after working alongside Mike ever since, took over control of the company in April 2007.
My wife, Janet is employed in the day to day running of the business and is always pleased to help with any enquires whilst I still carry out the fitting to ensure the exceptional standards are upheld. Within the last 12 months, my son, Anthony has been assisting full time with both fitting and running the store, keeping the emphasis of the business as family-based.
Since taking over the store, we have refurbished it to provide a pleasant and welcoming environment in which to browse the wide range of carpets, rugs and mats on display. As well as this, we have also extended the store into a neighbouring unit, to allow us to display a selection of beds, mattresses and headboards, although still retaining carpets at the forefront of the business.
W N Davies Carpets is a stone's throw away from Uttoxeter's High Street, on the corner of Smithfield Road. We regularly supply and fit carpets to most areas of Staffordshire and occasionally to some areas beyond the Staffordshire border.
